Welcome, friend. I’m so glad you’re here.
If you’re a homeschooling mom who wears many hats—teacher, nurturer, therapist, counselor, caretaker—you’ve found a soft place to land.
Mind & Scholar is a space for heart-led homeschoolers who want to educate with intention while tending to their family’s emotional well-being… and their own.
🌿 Who I Am
I’m Patricia—a homeschooling mom, licensed mental health therapist, and lifelong learner.
Like many of you, I began this homeschooling journey with a mix of excitement, questions, and a desire to do right by my children—academically and emotionally.
I believe that learning at home can be joyful and deeply connected. I also believe that caring for ourselves as parents and educators is just as important as the lessons we teach.
📚 What You’ll Find Here
At Mind & Scholar, I write and share about:
- Gentle homeschooling rhythms that honor your family’s needs
- Practical strategies for supporting kids’ mental and emotional health
- Reflections on motherhood, balance, and self-compassion
- Tools and resources to make homeschooling feel more grounded and less overwhelming
Whether you’re brand new to homeschooling or years in, this space is here to support your whole self—not just the teacher in you.
